Get miSim DE 2.1 For Free

    Get Java - The JRE (Java Runtime Environment) is all you need to run Java applications on most platforms (why?).

    Files for Version 2.1 include the Manual. Source code and JavaDoc are not (yet) available.

Installing miSim DE

Unzip the file(s) into a new directory once you have downloaded them.

There are now scripts for Windows and Linux to start miSim DE. If you have Java installed, you can start the simulator using these scripts :

In Windows

In Explorer, open the directory that you unzipped miSim DE into and double click misim.bat. This will open a MS-DOS window and start miSim DE with your installed version of Java.

In Linux

In a console window, change to the directory that contains the unzipped miSim DE files and type:
. start_misim That is '<dot><space>start_misim', if you have a bash shell or
source start_misim If you have a tcsh shell
